How do I get involved?

There are many ways in which you can become involved with the Hartlepool New Deal for Communities. Below are just a few examples of how you could make a difference:

Community Forum The Forum has regular meetings that are widely publicised and it is open to all NDC residents. If you’d like to raise an issue at the Forum, or you’d like to be added to the mailing list please contact us on 01429 894046. An opportunity for residents to share their experiences of NDC events they have attended.

Get Involved in Designing, Assisting or Managing NDC Projects
NDC sponsors over 70 projects from the Playbus to Neighbourhood Wardens. We are always looking for residents to get involved so that we can ensure these projects are meeting local needs. If you would like to know more contact any of the following at The Arches on (01429) 894046.

'Memories from the Hart' - History Project

Hartlepool NDC is working with Hartlepool Revival and Hartlepool Borough Council to preserve memories of the streets marked for demolition over the next few years.

We need your help to preserve and record the memories through your experiences, stories and tales of what life was once like in these streets. If you have any old maps, documents, photographs or anything of a similar nature this would be even better to help record a picture of the past.

Hartlepool Revival
Hartlepool has not had a Housing Regeneration Company before, so when it’s described as a community-owned company, there is no reason to think you couldn’t be one of the community representatives helping to run the company.
